NEVER GIVE UP

The PRC has Vote Pro-life bumper stickers available.

Our prayers for more abortion minded clients have been answered.  It is quite painful to meet with one of these women and then have them leave without knowing for sure if they have changed their mind.  Even if they state they are reconsidering we sometimes think she is still considering abortion.  We pray that the seeds planted by our witness to her will grow into a new understanding of what God can and will do in and through her.  It is our plea that everyone who reads this email would pray for all the abortion minded women who come into this place.  Whether they leave with a changed mind or not that God would intervene.

One such client carrying triplets stated she just could not raise three children in addition to the one she already has.  After she was given the wonderful news of what Jesus has done for her on the cross she prayed to receive Christ and stated she was planning to continue the pregnancy.  With the help of the Lord and what the PRC has to offer we are hoping for the best.

The Tuesday evening ladies and men Earn While You Learn classes were filled to this past week.  The Tuesday classes are currently closed until further notice.  Also we need to be very strict about enforcing the no children except those under  3 months in carriers.  How wonderful it would be if we had the space for a daycare room, but at this time we are just not capable of having the children.  Praise God for such problems.  This just means we are helping families and our growth potential is certainly apparent.

Women who attend the EWYL classes become very close.  They love one another like sisters and often become protective of one another.  This happened last week when one sweet mom noticed another with some bruises and proceeded to take matters into her own hands.  Then proper procedures were followed and we are praying for God to have His will in this matter.

Two who live on the beach have attended the beach class, but they miss the other ladies so much they came back to town for the class.  Once the beach classes get several new clients coming they will feel the same way and the beach classes will also grow.  Our first sign up specifically for the beach class occurred this past Wednesday.  When fall gets well underway we expect to see more and more take advantage of our beach services.  Please be praying with us about this.

Needs:

We are thanking God that there are no visible needs for the Baby Boutique at this time.  The many donations that continue to arrive, sometimes mysteriously, keep our volunteers busy and our boutique beautifully stocked.

Coming up:
Volunteer training in September.  Please take note and watch for the date to be set soon.
Fall newsletter will be going out in a few weeks.  Please watch you mail box for it, it promises to be filled with a lot of valuable information and news.

Praises:
A sweet volunteer who has volunteered to contact churches about having someone come speak.
Another wonderful volunteer has taken charge of our Student Ministry and has gained approval for two pieces of literature to be placed in Bay County junior and high school counselor offices.  She is also available to speak with church youth groups on abstinence and give information about the PRC.

God’s has answered prayer about  new staff members at PRC.  We are on the verge of great and mighty things being accomplished here at PRC.  Please do not look away or you will miss it.

Ministry Opportunities:
Volunteer Counselor for Monday 5-7, Tuesdays 12-1, and Thursdays 9-12.
Volunteer Receptionists for Tuesdays 12-1

"Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:8-9
