SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE

It was a hustling, bustling week at PRC.  Many hands pitched in and the Sanctity of Human Life bulletin inserts were finished by Tuesday afternoon.  Deliveries and pick ups of them for this Sundays SOHL presentations have been made. Please be praying for all who will be speaking this Sunday on behalf of the Center.

Another precious one signed the wall this week.  And still another came in abortion minded.  When she left she did not state a definite decision, but we are praying for her and ask you do the same.  These are the comments she made on her exit evaluation form:

Q.  How do you feel about your total experience at the Center?
A. The ladies were lovely and very informative. Open to talk and discuss everything with me – very appreciative of that.

Q.  What did you find most helpful about the Center?
A. Lots of pamphlets on various directions I can take, and a whole bunch of info on each.

Q. What improvements can we make at the Center?
A. I think everything was just the way it should be, especially for young scared girls like me.

Q.  Additional comments:
A. Thank you for being so sweet and supportive.

The volunteer is still set for Saturday, February 20.  It will be from 8:30 – 4.  This is an opportunity for the new volunteers to learn and all present volunteers to be refreshed and renewed about this ministry.  All volunteers are urged to attend.  This will be a new format for our training where we will be breaking up into workshops for specific areas of service.  We are expecting many new volunteers as a result of the awareness that occurs during our Sanctity of Human Life month.  Volunteers are needed in the areas of receptionist, counseling, nurses and clerical work.

Hey volunteers who come in on a regular basis, be sure to check your mail box. New contact lists are available.  Some who have not picked up your Christmas gifts may find them now in your box.  So check it out.

A few little reminders:
New files have been created for 2016.  They are kept in the lateral file where 2015 was.  The 2015 files are now in the vertical filing cabinet.  When a return client comes in who came in 2015, you can pull her file from the 2015 files, but when finished put it in the 2016 files.  If changes have been made, be sure to place it in the to be entered into Ekyros section.

Our new copier now stores items we wish to keep close at hand to recopy.  Check out the forms mail box for forms that need to be replaced for intake packets.  If the form is not stored you can send it to the mailbox by scanning it to the mailbox for future use.

Don’t forget to read your procedures on a regular basis and give input if you see something that may need to change.  Earn While You Learn facilitators are reminded to place all information needed on the sign in sheets each week.

Nurses, check with Nurse Becky if you are interested in our Ultrasound training coming up.  It is currently scheduled for April.

Ultrasound update.  We will be ordering our new ultrasound in the next few days.  We are currently
awaiting a review from our Medical Director’s office and once we get that we will be ordering our new machine.  Praise God for this wonderful window to the womb that will be crisp and clear.
Mothers will not be able to deny the existence of that beautiful baby.

Thanks to all of you for praying.  I know those of you who are not here every day are also praying for us, but I wish everyone could just experience the sweet times of prayer  we have as we hold hands and petition God every day before our sessions.  What a glorious feeling it is to feel God’s hand move around in this circle of beautiful, godly women.

Please check out our facebook page and see a beautiful song Jeanie Connell has written about the Center.

Got any pro-life news you would like to share?  Send us info and we can place it on our Facebook page.  The more often we post items the better.

Matthew 10:25   “If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household"

The world will not choose to support the pro-life movement because life is what God wants.  So we look to those in the family of God for our support.

This is why we will be honoring and thanking every church and their members who supports this ministry through Sanctity of Human Life Month, filling our Baby Bottles, their generous donations and most of all their many prayers.

God is so very very good!!!!

FIRST WEEK

Happy New Year.  I hope your Christmas and New Year was filled with many blessings.

This first week back from the holidays has been filled with mixed emotions and excitement at what the New Year will bring.  With a total of 13 appointments seen this week we can say it has been very interesting, and filled with praises and prayer needs.  Two new additions to the kingdom of God were added and signed their names to the Wall of Live.  One mother changed her mind about abortion, but is still in great need of our prayers.  Please pray that she will make the correct decision about the future of herself and her baby.

The clients are always our first priority, but this has been an extremely busy week because we are getting ready for Sanctity of Human Life.  This coming Sunday there will be two churches who will have our speakers come to their pulpits and share.  Over the next few weeks there will be approximately 23 more churches who have graciously invited us to speak.  Please be praying for our speakers and for every person
who receives information about us.

Over six thousand bulletin inserts are being handed out at these churches.  Yes that is correct 6000.  It has been a big job getting them printed, cut, and prepared for each church and we are not finished yet.  We still have several thousand to complete this coming week.  So if you have some time to spare come help us stamp envelopes, stuff envelopes, print and cut these inserts.  We have been fervently praying that each hand that holds one of these inserts will be touched by God to take a step to stop abortion and to help pregnant women and their families.

Volunteer training is set for Saturday, February 20.

The MOPS yard sale that benefits the PRC will be held on Saturday, March 12.  All kinds of items are welcome. Please let us know if you need to bring them early, we will need to store them until the event.  If at all possible, please hold them until the week before the sale.  Thanks so much to MOPS for doing this every year.  This is a great boost to our budget.

Speaking of our budget, we are still looking for donations to go toward the purchase of our new ultrasound machine.  You can donate at Go Fund Me or through our website at www.anotherheart.org or through Paypal.  We should be finalizing the purchase in days ahead.  Please pray about this large purchase with us that God will bless this machine and that many babies will get to live as a result of it.

The banquet date of March 31 is just around the corner and much will need to be done to get things ready for it.  We will have our next planning meeting on Jan. 29 at 8:30.  Interested in being a part, please come to the meeting. If you are interested in hosting a table, please call or email and we will be glad to get you signed up.  Great news about the banquet – we currently have three very nice door prizes donated.  Ladies tell your men folks and men take note – this year’s banquet will be all about the men and how they can help in this ministry.

I would like to take this opportunity to make a shout out to our new Bible Study teach, Kathy Johnson.  She is doing a great job and we are so glad to have her on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.  She is a very busy lady, and we so appreciate her taking the time to help in this area.  I would also like to welcome back Miss Beverly who has had knee replacement surgery and dis climbing the back steps like a teenager.

I was reminded this week that every one has a story.  If you would like to share you story of abortion, adoption, or an answered prayer please send it to us.  We would love to read it and share it with others.

Have a blessed and worshipful weekend.

God is soooo gooood!

"Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." —1 Peter 5:7
It is a happy way of soothing sorrow when we can feel—"HE careth for me." Christian! do not dishonour religion by always wearing a brow of care; come, cast your burden upon your Lord. You are staggering beneath a weight which your Father would not feel. What seems to you a crushing burden, would be to Him but as the small dust of the balance. Nothing is so sweet as to "Lie passive in God's hands, And know no will but His."
Charles Spurgeon, Jan. 6 Morning reading
